Care During Pregnancy

Prenatal Massage in Blaine

Comfort-conscious massage adapted to the physical changes of pregnancy. Your therapist adjusts positioning, pressure, and focus areas around your comfort, individual needs, and stage of pregnancy.

Prenatal massage is available with every Ackerman massage therapist. Please share your stage of pregnancy and any pregnancy-related health considerations when scheduling and with your therapist before treatment.

When booking through Mindbody, select prenatal massage if listed, or call the clinic for help choosing the appointment.

One Session. Your Priorities.

Your massage is personalized.

Massage should not feel like ordering from a technical menu. Your therapist begins by listening—where you feel discomfort, how much pressure you prefer, and what you want from the session.

From there, pressure, pace, focus areas, and techniques are adjusted to fit your body. A session may combine several approaches when appropriate.

Treatment Approaches

Care without the vocabulary test.

We group our techniques by what they help you accomplish. Your therapist can explain the options and recommend the best fit.

Relaxation Massage

May include: Swedish massage, hot stones, and aromatherapy to ease tension and encourage whole-body relaxation.

Therapeutic & Trigger Point Massage

May include: Deep tissue work, trigger-point therapy, and myofascial release for focused discomfort and restricted movement.

Specialized Bodywork

May include: Neuromuscular massage, Shiatsu, or craniosacral therapy based on your needs and practitioner expertise.

Enhanced Massage

May include: Cupping or topical CBD as complementary options for targeted tension and additional comfort.

Specialized Options

Go more targeted when you need to.

These options can be selected as a focused service or discussed with your therapist as part of a personalized plan.

Neuromuscular Massage

Tavia’s certified, focused approach for trigger points, persistent tension, pain patterns, and movement restrictions.
