Mike Ackerman is a graduate of Hamline University and received his Masters of Acupuncture from Northwestern Health Sciences. He has over ten years of clinical experience in acupuncture, having completed an internship at the University of Minnesota Medical Center Fairview. During this time, he provided care to post-operative patients, oncology patients, organ transplant recipients, and immunocompromised individuals. He has treated a broad spectrum of acute and chronic conditions, including pain management, digestive disorders, stress-related issues, insomnia, allergies, asthma, anxiety, and depression.

In addition to his clinical work, Mike spent nine years with the University of Minnesota Physicians and Fairview as a patient care coordinator. In this role, he collaborated closely with patients and their multidisciplinary care teams, ensuring seamless coordination of medical care. His diverse experience has given him a deep understanding of both Eastern and Western medical practices, allowing him to take a comprehensive and integrative approach to patient care.

Mike grew up here in Blaine. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, hiking, fishing, and engaging in other outdoor activities. He also has a passion for films and reading.
